Bergmannhof

The Bergmannhof, first documented in the 17th century, has been owned by the Pichler family since 1851. The quality of the Bergmannhof wines is based on the experience and commitment of the whole family in the vineyard and in the cellar.

In 1978 Karl and Josef Pichler decided to go their own way and process the grapes of the 2.5 hectare vineyard themselves. Special attention is paid to the respectful treatment of nature. In order to guarantee the even growth of the vines and to create harmony in the vineyard, as much as possible is worked by hand. With a few specific measures in the vineyard and cellar, they try to work as close to nature as possible and to get the best out of the grapes year after year. This is how honest, long-lasting character wines are created at the Bergmannhof, whereby unnecessary fining and filtration are avoided.

With Johannes Pichler, the new generation has now taken over the management of the wine cellar. In order to achieve this visually, we were asked to design a new appearance, new wine labels and your suitable packaging, which will reflect the character of the wines. We have drawn a bow between the decades of tradition and the fresh breeze at the Bergmannhof. This has resulted in a clear modern appearance with historical references. For the illustration of the mulberry tree, which both adorns the farm and decorates a wine line, we brought the artist Anuschka Prossliner into the project. https://www.bergmannhof.it/
